Digital Africa, a subsidiary of Proparco – AFD Group, which has been working to build a more fair and sustainable world for over 45 years – is dedicated to unlocking the barriers to success for African tech startup entrepreneurs from regions on the bangs of the most mature ecosystems.

Digital Africa is looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to help the organisation to grow and diversify the source of funding.
Expériences / Formation
REQUIRED PROFILE
The candidate should have the following skills:
- 5 years of experience in a role that requires fundraising /building and developing partnership with public and private institutions at the regional, national and international levels
- Experience of working with international organisations especially in fundraising area
- Experience in working with Development Financial institutions( DFIs)
- Acquaintance with European Commission’s funding and reporting schemes
- Knowledge about tech entrepreneurs, startups and/or organisations working with/supporting startups, in Africa is a plus.
- Project and communication skills
- Rigour, synthesis skills with a pragmatic and data-driven approach.
- Ability to thrive in new environments and quickly build lasting relationships collaboratively.
- Team Player
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- A solid personal passion for impact entrepreneurship, technology for development, and strong faith in Digital Africa’s mission
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Perfect mastery of French and English
