Focus on our activities in UKRAINE
PUI intervenes in Ukraine since 2015, in response to the needs provoked by the conflict in Donbass. PUI develops its integrated approach with health, mental health, protection and WASH projects to improve and restore equitable access to quality health services as well as to water, sanitation and hygiene for the most vulnerable population living in cities located along the contact line in the Donetsk Oblast. PUI also technically and materially assists a large network of Health Facilities and social institutions to improve the quality of care provided to the population.
In order to support the populations currently affected by the conflict in the country, PUI is currently scaling up its activities in Donbass and in other regions of Ukraine.
Given the scale of the needs provoked by the conflict with Russia, PUI and four other INGOs are joining their experiences and technical capacities to implement an emergency multisector project including in WASH, MHPSS, Health, Logistics, Protection and Cash Assistance. The extensive geographical coverage of this project will allow responding to the most critical needs accross the country.
What about the Grants Officer ?
As Grants Officer, you will be in charge of donor deadlines related to the programs, internal and external communication on the mission and you will support the Deputy Head of Mission for Programs in his daily tasks, particularly in writing proposals.
For this purpose, you will be responsible for :
- Programs: You will support the preparation and formulation of proposals and review the content and form of donor reports.
- Communication/Information: You will elaborate internal and external communication documents and participate in communication working groups.
- Representation: You will participate in external coordination meetings.
The challenges that await you :
Support in drafting quality proposals and donor reports. Coordinate efficiently with the program teams to gather project information from the bases. Participate actively in the project kick off and close out meetings presentation.
What you will need to succeed
- Training : You hold a Master’s degree in a field related to Project Management, international development and/or social sciences.
- Experience : You are strengthened by a previous experience in humanitarian sector, and ideally by 6 months of international solidarity project management. You already worked with Première Urgence Internationale? It would be a definite asset!
- Skills : You demonstrate excellent writing skills and organisation. All the better if you have knowledge in regulations of the main institutional donors (ECHO, EuropeAid, UN, OFDA, etc) master the project.
- Qualities: You are able to work independently and to take responsibility in a proactive approach. You demonstrate good analytical skills, organization, rigor, flexibility and the ability to manage priorities. You are a good communicator, both in writing and orally. You have a sense of diplomacy and a good resilience to stress.
- Languages : English has no secrets for you! All the better, it is mandatory for this position. If you speak French, it would be a definite asset.

PUI will offer you
- Status : Employé(e) with a Fixed-Term Contract
- Monthly Gross Income : 2 050,00 – 2 270,00 EUR depending on your experience in International Solidarity + 50€ per semester of seniority with PUI
- Insurance including medical coverage and complementary healthcare, 24/24 assistance and repatriation
- Housing in collective accomodation
- Daily Living Expenses (« Per Diem »)
- Break Policy : 5 working days at 3 and 9 months + break allowance
- Paid Leaves Policy : 5 weeks of paid leaves per year + return ticket every 6 months
