TSF was founded in 1998 as the world’s first NGO to specialise in emergency-response technologies. We enable people affected by humanitarian crises to communicate when they need it most. We also provide access to information and digital inclusion through innovative and responsible technical solutions.
Job Description
Working closely with TSF’s Teams and in particular our Communications Department, and reporting directly to the Director of TSF, the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager contributes to the development and diversification of TSF’s financial and in-kind resources by creating new partnerships with companies, foundations and institutional donors.
The Partnerships and Fundraising Manager plays a key and active role at every stage, and is responsible for the following main tasks:
TSF fundraising strategy and organization
- Improve and lead TSF’s global fundraising and new partnerships strategy
- Leverage existing resources and find new assets to optimize and successfully implement TSF’s Fundraising and Partnerships Strategy.
Finding new partners
- Identify and prioritize potential new partners
- Manage TSF’s fundraising database
- Identify new opportunities for funding support for current and future programmes.
- Draft and pitch Partnership Proposals working closely with the relevant TSF team members.
Capitalise on TSF’s loyal and long-standing partners
- Manage partnerships by acting as the focal point for TSF’s partners: maintain and grow privileged relationships with private partners building loyalty and opportunities for greater social impact
- Represent TSF at partnership-related meetings and events.
Partnership Management
- Draft agreements and final reports for partners
- Ensure administrative follow-up and compliance with partnership commitments.
Working closely with TSF’s teams, the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will:
- Know TSF’s programmes so as to be able to present them attractively to corporates, foundations and other national or international donors/partners;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of dedicated corporate and foundation communications plans and support optimizing the visibility of our partnerships
- Leverage the support of TSF’s Board and support the Director and Co-Founder of TSF in partner relations including through strategy briefings and talking points during the partnership lifecycle ;
- Consider and support TSF’s cross-functional and evolving objectives such as Ecological Transition, Innovation and new programmes.
Required skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French. Spanish would be an additional asset.
- Minimum 3 years-experience and a successful track record in fundraising internationally for charity and managing/building private partnerships
- You are rigorous, tenacious and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing skills for proposals, reports, and other donor outreach
- Keen interest in Key Performance Indicators and reporting on programme impact and budget
- Work or volunteer experience in a humanitarian organisation
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as working collaboratively with diverse teams including remotely
- A keen interest of the Tech ecosystem would be highly appreciated
- Desire and flexibility to frequently travel abroad.
Salary and benefits
Duration: 1 year contract, renewable.
Remuneration: 40-60,000 EUR gross per year depending on experience and status (based on 5 working days per week). Open to full time employee in France or contractor abroad.
Location: Based in Europe. Regular travel to TSF’s Headquarters in Pau, France.
Travel: The position will include regular international travel either to Pau, meet partners or to the field to visit TSF’s programmes.
