Alstom Foundation – 2025 Call for Projects
Objective
The Alstom Foundation supports projects that have a positive impact on local communities in four key areas:
- Economic and social development: Supporting the creation of sustainable industries, job opportunities, skills development, and employability, with a particular focus on disadvantaged youth and women, as well as support for street children, orphans, and foster children.
- Environmental protection: Promoting environmental awareness, protecting natural habitats and biodiversity, and enhancing resilience to natural disasters.
- Access to mobility: Facilitating economic development by improving the movement of people and goods, ensuring that remote and underserved communities can access local markets, education, healthcare, and other essential services.
- Access to energy and water: Contributing to solutions for global challenges where 16% of the population lacks access to electricity, and one in three people lack safe drinking water, helping to improve living conditions for remote communities.

If a project is selected, the Promoter will continue supporting its implementation and monitoring in coordination with the Alstom Foundation Secretariat. Each Alstom employee can only support one project submission per year.
If an NGO does not have an Alstom contact, they can request assistance from the Alstom Foundation Secretariat to identify a potential Promoter. However, requests must be submitted by March 20, 2025, and there is no guarantee that a suitable Promoter will be found. Promoters are volunteers and will only engage with projects that align with their interests.
