Call for Expression of Interest for Innovative Gender-Based Violence Response and Prevention in Cameroon | United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)
Objective:
UNFPA, with support from GIZ (BMZ and EU funding), seeks to identify Women-Led Organizations (WLOs) and Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) based in Cameroon with innovative approaches to prevent and respond to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the North-West and South-West regions. Selected organizations will co-create impactful initiatives under one of four pillars:
- GBV data and information management
- GBV service provision
- Capacity strengthening
- Advocacy and community mobilisation
Eligibility criteria:
- Legally registered in Cameroon or partnered with a registered local entity
- Operational presence in the North-West and South-West regions
- At least 3 years’ experience in GBV programming (including GBVIMS)
- At least 2 technical staff with GBV expertise
- Transparent governance and financial management
- Women-led or focused on women’s rights
- Capacity to mobilize resources and coordinate with stakeholders
- Active members of the GBV AoR sub-cluster is an asset
- Presence in rural/hard-to-reach areas is an asset
