Objective:

UNFPA, with support from GIZ (BMZ and EU funding), seeks to identify Women-Led Organizations (WLOs) and Women’s Rights Organizations (WROs) based in Cameroon with innovative approaches to prevent and respond to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the North-West and South-West regions. Selected organizations will co-create impactful initiatives under one of four pillars:

• GBV data and information management
• GBV service provision
• Capacity strengthening
• Advocacy and community mobilisation

Eligibility criteria:

• Legally registered in Cameroon or partnered with a registered local entity
• Operational presence in the North-West and South-West regions
• At least 3 years’ experience in GBV programming (including GBVIMS)
• At least 2 technical staff with GBV expertise
• Transparent governance and financial management
• Women-led or focused on women’s rights
• Capacity to mobilize resources and coordinate with stakeholders
• Active members of the GBV AoR sub-cluster is an asset
• Presence in rural/hard-to-reach areas is an asset
