Created in 1979, Action contre la Faim is a non-governmental organization that fights against hunger. Its charter of humanitarian principals- independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has been part of its identity for 45 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of under-nutrition, particularly during and after emergency situations linked to conflicts or natural disasters. Votre Mission :

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director Program, you will handle the implement of the high quality Food security and Livelihood (FSL), the Disaster Risk Reduction (DDR) mechanism projects, in conformity with the country strategy and the standards set internationally, by ACF and by national policies.
More precisely, you will be responsible for the followings missions :
Contribute to deliberations on strategy and the positioning of the FSL-DRR Department.
Define the operational direction to be promoted in relation to the strategy, the capacities of the mission and the identification of need in the sector.
Take notice of the sectorial orientations of national strategy and understand the implications for your field of activity.
Identify needs and contribute to project elaboration.
Carry out need assessment missions (Rapid assessments, Household survey, Market assessment etc.) (methodology, team training in the field, carrying out investigations on the ground).
Collect secondary data and information supplied by the target populations and analyze results.
Support field teams technically on FSL-DRR projects.
Contribute to the quality, accountability and impact measurement process of his/her projects.
Participate in the coordination, representation and partnerships of ACF in you area of intervention.
Supervise and manage the team.
Contributing to capitalization and technical development in your sector.

Votre profil :

You hold a master degree in agronomy, environmental sciences, biology and/or any other relevant discipline in Food, security & livehood and Emergency response Program for Natural and conflict disaster.
You have minimum 5 years experience in FSL sector in the field of humanitarian cooperation in challenging context including at least 3 years of experience in understanding of project management
You have humanitarian project cycle management, donor reporting rules and compliance experience
You demonstrate good knowledge of humanitarian aid and/or development and you are good at synthesising, analysing and have writing skills.
You are an experienced manager, and you are able to support and empower your team.
You are proactive, creative, autonomous and able to absorb important workload and work under pressure.
You are fluent in english.
If you know ACF internal process it is a plus!

Conditions d’emploi

12-month fixed-term contract under French or Afghan labor law.

For internationals candidates
Monthly gross salary from 2597 to 2968euros upon experience  including 13th month
Reimbursement of the pension insurance for non-French citizens: 16% of the gross monthly salary
Annual salary increase: 6% increase after and each 12 months of continuous contract
Monthly per diem and living allowance: 645 euros net, field paid
Monthly country allowance: 450euros
Cold allowance: Reimbursement for the purchase of winter equipment for a maximum of 380euros per person per year in severe cold contexts.
Child allowance: 1500euros per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000euros/year)
Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
ACF covers 100% of the social security, health insurance, and repatriation insurance.

For nationales candidates:
Basic Salary = 177840Afn/month
Medical Allowance = 2000afn/month
Communication allowance = 2000afn
Transportation allowance = 1570afn/month
One month salary per year as end of service benefits
2 days Paid leave per month and 24 days per year
